The U21 Mixed Doubles Qualifier: 2025

Is being held at the Richmond Curling Centre on
November 26 th – 30 th , 2025. This is a Western Canadian U21 Mixed Doubles Qualifier,
where four teams will qualify to meet four teams from the Eastern Canadian U21 Mixed
Doubles Qualifier. The eight teams will meet at the Canadian U21 Mixed Doubles
Championship, for the chance to represent Canada. This event is open to all spectators
in Western Canada, but the Richmond Curling Centre hopes to approach all curling
clubs in the Greater Vancouver area to come out and support the U21 curlers. This
event will be free to attend, but we will ask the spectators to pay for entry by donation
with the proceeds going towards the Richmond Curling Centre’s Junior Curling program.
This event uses the Canadian Mixed Doubles Ranking (CMDR) point system designed
by Curling Canada to rank mixed doubles curling teams. The rankings are determined
through points earned in various curling events held worldwide throughout the season.
At the moment, there are 65 mixed doubles teams scoring a high of 127.75 points
counted in 12 events and a low of 0.553 points counted in only one event.
